BRIGGS CHAIRS

DISTRICT 8 | 2014

With the inspiration from Frisco Kramer's plywood school chair, we designed this Briggs chairs with an innovative use of oak veneer. The seat and backrest are made from vacuum-pressed veneer with layers of fibreglass core for better flexibility and strength.

Easy chair is made with thin upholstery seat and a larger pressed veneer backrest for better comfort. Both metal frames are made with their cold-rolled steel texture preserved in thin coat of clear paint.
